Charles Norman Pinckney. I am a metalsmith working in the medium of jewelry and sculpture. My work is about design and the juxtaposition of shapes, textures, different metals, articulated joins and little bits of color in gemstones or found objects. Later, as I reflect upon my work, something about each piece jogs a memory and I am able to convey something about personal history and human connections.
